FairMediate is an AI-powered dispute resolution tool that uses a three-agent mediation architecture — two private advocates and one neutral mediator — grounded in published research. Most disagreements aren't legal matters. They're two reasonable people who can't hear each other. I built FairMediate because the options — talk it out, hire a professional, or let it fester — don't match how most disputes actually work.

I'm a software developer with hands-on experience in negotiation — both professional and personal. I've been the person trying to split a project fairly, the person navigating a roommate conflict, and the person watching two people I care about talk past each other.
Before writing a line of code, I spent months studying mediation research. The three insights that shaped FairMediate came from published studies — not opinions. Private advocacy works. Structure beats willpower. Written, asynchronous communication reduces emotional flooding.
I built this tool because I wanted it to exist. Not as a business first — as a solution to a problem I kept seeing: two people who both want fairness but can't get there when emotions are involved.

Privacy-first
Minimal data collection, no tracking. Participants join via link — no account needed. Conversations are encrypted and automatically deleted after 30 days. Privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation that makes honest communication possible.
Transparent
Every claim on the site is sourced with a link to the original research. Our approach is documented publicly. If we cite a statistic, you can verify it.
Non-binding
We help you find agreement — we don't enforce it. This is structured discussion, not legal arbitration. Either party can leave at any time.
